October 22, 2007- Pigheaded BBQ competed in the 2nd Annual Diamond State BBQ competiton in our home state of Delaware at Dover Downs. The field consisted of 84 teams, comprising some of the best teams in the country. While we would have liked to place higher, we came in a very respectable 32nd place, considering that our site was descimated by a windstorm late on Friday evening. September 18, 2007- Pigheaded BBQ competed in the King Pig BBQ competition held in Bridgeton, NJ on Sept 14 and 15. Pigheaded BBQ received one call in the Chicken category, placing 10th, and one walk in the Pork category, placing 5th. Before leaving for the competition, Ron's grandson Michael said "Pop-pop, if you don't come home with a trophy, you're a loser." Well, Michael....pop-pop delivered!
